As a UK business we have our off offshore technology/development company in Kolkata, India. This blended resource model enables us to provide the right quality of resource, at the right price for all projects.
Under the UK Data Protection Act and EU GDPR regulations Accellier is classed as a ‘Data Processor’ for most of our customers and a ‘Data Controller’ for a few. Given the amount of our customers personal data that we have access to it is critical that Accellier are fully GDPR compliant.
We have invested a lot of time and money into developing a hosting infrastructure that provides business level availability and data protection built in at an affordable price.
We operate clusters with production (e.g. live) business applications running in the UK and DR/BC servers running in France. Data is replicated between the servers every 5 minutes & we also take an additional ‘cold backup’ that is stored in a 3rd data centre.
In the event we lose a UK based server or even the entire data centre:
- Customers shouldn’t lose more than the last 5 minutes worth of data changes.
- We can restore service to all customers within 1 hour.
